Four more days and I'm off to Michigan for my family vacation. I am so ready to be on the west coast in the cool weather and to snack on fresch cherries and fudge. We're taking our two dogs and my cat, this is going to be fun, especially since we're camping! :P I still haven't started packing though and I have a lot to do in the next three days. So I'm going to be very busy. Oh, so you know, I will have my computer with me, but I probably won't be anywhere near a wireless connection, so I might not be back online for two weeks. I will have my cellphone so people can contact me that way.

Just so anyone who is watching my journal can know, I have not abandoned HP & the Legend of Soul Separation. I'm in my first semester of Grad School and Finals finish this week, so I haven't been writing on anything but homework assignments for the past 3-4 weeks. My last paper is due Tuesday at noon, and might take off a week or so after that from writing anything bc I'll probably be burnt out. But then it's summer break and I won't have anything to do but garden and write. I hope a week or two after that I'll have a new chapter out to you all. Thanks for your patience, and I promise to reply to reviews when I have the time.

I just remembered this and had to post it for anyone on my list who is a Sentinel fan.

I'm currently in a class for Central Asian travel literature. We just read something by a contemporary of Burton, and one of my classmates says, I kid you not, 'Richard Burton the actor?' and the reply my teacher gave, 'No, not that Burton.'

I had to physically restrain myself from giggling like a maniac in class. I doubt my teacher would have found the reference amusing, but I had to share.

I just recieved my 2nd GRE scores from EST. I already knew my Quan and Verbal scroe, but the analytical is new... I got a 5.5!!! W00t! .5 points better than last time. Sorry, this makes me insanely happy, that's only 1/2 a point away from perfect. *g*

3960 is my total word count so far so that was.... 2196 words today... Awesome! I'm still posting here because I was having problems with Nano site yesterday and i want to have my averages correct if I actually make it. :)

And we're off! :D November 1st officially 13 minutes ago by my watch and I hit 1764 words before that deadline. Whee!!!! Over the official needed limit. I am posting this here because Nano site is being spastic and IDK if I can get it to post my updated word count. *sigh* I will keep writing and see how far I get before sleep. I really like my idea this year, lets hope it holds out long enough for me to reach 50,000 words. I feel a lot more determined than I did last time....

Just an update to let everyone know that I am not dead. I got Spore on the 9th and spent a lot of time playing that, but recently I have been studying for the GRE, which I take this coming Saturday. I will not be doing much of anything besides studying. For those waiting for the next chapter of my fanfiction I would just like to say that I have the first 3 pages of chapter 7 written, but I won't be writing anything until after Saturday. Jen and Katie, since I haven't seen you for the last little while, would you like to hang out after I finish my test? We could go out to eat or shopping in celebration. Ohh.... we could go to Asuka? :D

So I bought Midori and Sake bc I liked it at the party, but now... I just tried it and apparently the flavor makes me gag. It's so sad! I liked that drink! Stupid cheesecake, (yes that's entirely what I'm blaming it on!)

Hopefully I'll still be able to drink Sake with other things, will have to see another time. *sigh*

Time for my Family to go on their summer trip... yay! :D Anyway, I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I am home with my mom and dad for July, I couldn't find a job other than substituting so I couldn't pay the rent. *sigh* Anyway, now I'm off to Lake Erie in Pennsylvania for 5 days, monday through friday. Our cabin has no TV and no Internet, so I will be out of range for those 5 days. P.S. I just learned that Southern Lanes in BG has an Ice Skating rink. It's synthetic Ice that doesn't melt so they can have it year round, but you still wear ice skates. My Dad and I will check it out when we get back. Yay!!!!!!

I was just watching Alton Brown on Good Eats and saw a Serta commercial. Though there were sheep, there was also a human actor. She was Francesca Veccio.... wtf mate?!

It's really disconcerting to be sitting alone in your house at night and look out the window and see two eyes peering back at you. What then makes you feel foolish is realizing it's one of the neighborhood cats coming to talk to your cat through the window screen. Stupid cats with glowy eyes.

This is a Fanfiction that I started a while ago. I plan to have this story go through seventh year, or an equivalent, all in one story, but it is definitely not that far now. So if anyone on my friends list wants to read this go ahead.

The Concert was fantastic. Just got home and saw Katie and Jen on their way(drive safe my loves!) :D Had a blast and am now brain dead. Will write more in the morning. Night!

'Kay so here's what my next week is shaping up to look like. I am going to head down to BG for Tuesday afternoon and all of Wed. I will be leaving for Nashville Thursday morning for a checkup on my lip scar. After I get back to BG from that I will drive back up to Bloomington with my Dad Thursday afternoon, though we will be in two different cars. Friday morning my Dad and I will head out in the same care for Michigan, where I will pick up my Kitten on Saturday morning and then head back here to Bloomington on the same day. Then my Dad can have a leisurely drive back down to BG in his own car. So, if anybody wants to so something Tuesday or Wednesday I will be in town. Otherwise, Jen and Katie I'll see you when you come up for the concert in 2 and a half weeks.


P.S. I have no love for my sisters dog Duncan right now. He just ate my piece of Nutella Bread when I had to get up and answer the phone. I hadn't even gotten a bite yet, fucking dog.

It's right before the content strike in my time zone, so I thought I would let you all know that I am logging off of livejournal and wont be on till late Friday. I am coming into BG this weekend, but it will only be for saturday and part of sunday. So see you all later!

Computer is FIXED!!!! YAY!!!! Just took a motherboard, a hard drive, and two memory cards, all new. Thank goddess for the warrenty.

Finally called Dell today, and it was the fun experience I thought it would be. they're supposed to call me back with in 24 hrs to see what else they can do, the idiots. They should just send me a new hard-drive. Which i know they can do bc I'm still under warranty, ha! But this means I will be extending my warranty in July. Stupid computer. And it's not even really the computer, it's fucking Vista. *sigh*

In other news I contacted the breeder of the kitten I want to get. She has a litter due at the end of this month and two more due at the end of next month. Hopefully that would mean that by the end of April beginning of May I will have my very own kitty. Now I just have to get a part time job, or earn more at my current job each week. *hopes*

I am currently on my sisters computer, which she luckily forgot to take to school with her, bc something is wrong with my computer. I kept getting blue screens and so decide to re-load the OS, but I must have fucked it up bc now the computer wont load. Last time this happened I had to have my hard drive and memory cards replaced by a technician. *sigh* Hopefully it won't come to that. But i am going to eat my breakfast and then see about calling dell. Hopefully it's an easy fix and I'll have my compy back in a couple of hours. If not, I'll post a new entry when i get my computer fixed.

Ummm....... not much happening here actually. I got my file complete for substitute teaching and started last week. I've gone out to jobs four times so far, and it's going okay. I have to get a part time job to make ends meet and I haven't gotten any interviews on this front. This thursday though there is a job fair at Oliver Winery that makes 10$/hr and I really hope I get it bc it's mostly weekend stuff so I can work during the week. We'll see what happens. Really I'm living with Duncan and my sister and enjoying the down time when I can. At least I'mm pulling some kind of salary right now. :)

So... I decided that I should kinda update and tell everyone what's going on. I had an awesome christmas with a very good haul, which made me all kinds of happy. Immediately after New Years my Dad and I headed up north to Bloomington, IN, where my sister lives to move all of my big stuff in. Spent 4 days here and then headed back home where I packed all of my smaller stuff, and then had my surgery, for this thing on my lip. Spent one day in woozy pain and then moved all my clothes and junk up to bloomington on thursday. Spent the weekend in Bloomington getting my Huge 5 shelf double wide bookcase put up and then set the rest of my things in my room. Sunday my Dad and I head back to BG where I spend my last night living in my old house. *cries* I then went down to Nashville to have my stitches removed Monday morning, drove back to BG, packed up all the little miscellaneous crap and then drove four hours back to Bloomington. This was all so that I could go to a meeting on Tuesday of last week for Substitute teaching. I haven't started that yet bc I need CPR before i can do so, and I am also currently hunting for a part time job. We'll see what happens. And then on Thursday of last week my cord for my lap top shorts and I'm left with and hour and a half of battery before my computer dies. *sigh* Oh well, luckily I was able to order a new one and I am currently charging my compy. I missed my laptop this weekend! For now that is all, but hopefully things will settle into a routine soon. That would be nice.

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! I definitely won't be on for the next day or so, so see you all later! :D
